This weekend my girlfriend & I both went to Napa for the first time. Honestly neither of us cares much for wine, but we just wanted to see what Napa was all about so we took a trip. Quite frankly that is one of the most boring and rude cities I have ever been in. For the record the guy at the Chimney Rock Winery was quite polite and my girlfriend really liked the display at the jewelry store we saw. However the city's overall atmosphere was not great. The part of the trip disappointed us the most was when we went to the Bistro Don Giovanni. The people were rude and the meal sizes were insanely small. Her $15 meal looked like a small Weight Watchers meal portion and my $14 meal was 5 yes 5 ravioli! It was so small she could not quit laughing when we were served. Oh yea right before dinner I almost messed up my car by driving over one of those dividers in the parking lot at the Napa Mervyns. Despite all of this we still had a good time. I really enjoyed the company of my girlfriend and we both got to try something new. Somehow she has a way of calming my soul and putting me at ease even when I get annoyed at the world for something small and stupid. I don’t know how she does it but overall I am a better man because of it.
Oh yea I got a Gameboy Micro last week and it’s really cool and small. Overall the new Gameboy SP with a brighter screen is a better unit but it lacks a certain coolness factor. I am happy with both.
